This is the place where you get to load in events independent of exact dates/periods! Wowie.

Below is a vague measure of how "important/recognizable" the displayed events will be. I'm the one doing this measurement, so it'll be quite biased to what I feel is the most important/recognizable. And "important" is itself hard to describe when you really get into the details, but my working standard of measurement has been "how much this event affected the people/world at the time, affects us today, and will affect the people/world in the future."
